At Paul Costelloe Man, we believe in the power of natural materials. With all our ready to wear fashioned from fine wool, cotton or silk yarns, we are keen to ensure that our collection of mens leather accessories are hand-crafted from sturdy cow hides. In the lead up to Christmas, Sarah in our product development team gave us some insight into the expert processes we have developed to create the perfect leather accessories and gifts.
Drum Dyed Dry Milled:
These full-grain leather cow hides are some of the finest qualities of leather available today with each skin having unique and individual characteristics. The leathers are dyed in drums, left unfinished and tumbled in great big drums with soft balls to give a powdery touch to the leather – such as the A4 document / tablet folder which has dedicated compartments for business cards as well as important notes or receipts. The contrast white stitching shows true attention to detail and stands this piece apart from others on the high street.
Oil Pull Up Leather:
Pull-up leather refers to the temporary separation of oils and dyes in leather when creased, stretched, or pulled up on. This results in a beautiful texture and rich colour and is widely considered an incredibly beautiful, supple, and well-aging leather.
It is this supple quality that makes oil pull up leather ideal for our bags such as our holdall and messenger bag in brown.
Our Star Pick: Mans leather holdall in chocolate featuring both hand straps and shoulder straps for comfort as well an adjustable two-way zip. The interior features three interior pockets as well as the signature Paul Costelloe fox logo lining.
